Frequently Asked Questions

1. What should I wear for my photo session?

I recommend choosing outfits that reflect your style and the mood you want for the session. For family or group sessions, coordinating colors or complementary styles usually work best. Avoid overly bright colors or busy patterns that may distract from the focus of the photos. If you have multiple outfit changes, make sure the locations allow for quick changes. Need help choosing outfits? I’m happy to provide guidance based on your session!

2. How long will it take to receive my photos?

Your edited photos will be delivered within 2–4 weeks after the session, depending on the complexity and number of images. I always strive to get them to you as quickly as possible without compromising quality. You'll receive an email with a link to your online gallery, where you can download and share your photos.

3. Do you offer location shoots, or do we have to come to you?

I love capturing moments in meaningful locations! I offer on-location shoots at your home, a park, a venue, or any place that holds special meaning for you. If you’re not sure where to go, I can suggest some beautiful locations. For certain sessions, I also offer studio shoots. (Travel fees may apply)

4. What happens if I need to reschedule or cancel?

Life happens, and I understand! If you need to cancel or reschedule, please let me know at least 24 hours before your session. Cancellations within 24 hours may result in a 6-month rebooking restriction (subject to the reason for cancellation). If you need to reschedule, I’ll be happy to work with you to find a new time.

5. Can I share my photos on social media?

Yes! Once your photos are delivered, you’re free to share them on social media and with family and friends. I ask that you please credit me as the photographer when sharing on platforms like Instagram, Facebook, or Pinterest. Tagging is always appreciated!


Please note: You cannot edit your photos after I send them to you. While you can request specific changes or edits before I finalize your images, I ask that you refrain from making your own edits.

6. How far in advance should I book my session?

I recommend booking your session at least 2-4 weeks in advance, especially for weddings and holiday season shoots. However, I’ll always do my best to accommodate last-minute requests if my schedule allows.

7. How can I pay for my session?

I accept Venmo, cash, or checks made out to Rebecca Jo Designs. Once we confirm your session, I’ll send you an invoice with payment details. The full balance will be due before or on the day of the shoot.

8. What if I want to add more images or time to my session?

No problem! You can always purchase more time or images for your session if you'd like. Just let me know before or during the shoot, and we can make it work.
